Grandparents are special to every child. Their bedtime stories are an integral part of everyone’s growing up years.
Their knowledge is invaluable and their love and care are unconditional and keeps the family close to heart. To honor them Academic World School celebrated Grandparents’ Day “THEME- CIRCUS” on Saturday 15th February 2020. The program began with the auspicious ‘Lighting of the Lamp’. The function started with a melodious ‘Welcome Song’ by the little champs of Pre-primary for their grandparents. Hilarious games like Whistle & win, Ready for the Circus and Bombing the Zone, left the participants and the spectators entertained and spellbound. The center of attraction of the function was the dance performance by Prep-II students on the THEME “CIRCUS” which made everyone mesmerized.
The winner Grandparents from the games were greeted with the gifts as a token of love. Some Grandparents took the opportunity to share their experiences with the gathering and added value to the program with their participation. The address of the Chairperson left everyone speechless.
The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles & teary eyes of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them.
